Emla is the Director of Child of the New Century. She’s responsible for all the big decisions about the study, in particular deciding what topics we cover at every visit.
Emla is a child of the 1970s. She was born in Dublin and is one of 4 siblings.
There’s a whole team of people working with Emla on Child of the New Century. Managing a study this big requires many different jobs – our team is made up of researchers, survey specialists, data managers and communications staff.
Pete is part of the team that ensures that your address and other contact information is up to date so we know how to contact you.
Lucy is part of the team that put together the surveys, including the questions to ask you and information to send you at each visit, and a separate survey company works with them to plan and carry out the visits to you and your family.
But the most important members of the study are you! We wouldn’t be able to do our work without you.
